This policy explains how NomiDay handles information.

Information we collect
We collect account names, email addresses and identifiers through Sign in with Apple or email/password authentication; family contacts, relationships and phone numbers; memories, photos, audio, documents, routines and private messages; optional home addresses and precise location; and subscription status. Care profiles can include birthday, height, weight, medication reminders, support needs and preferences such as faith or prayer. Shared records are linked to accounts and family circles. Support preferences and age bands help personalize activities. New voice recordings retain the original audio only when you explicitly start and stop recording a memory. Historical memories without audio do not gain a recovered recording.
Optional Firebase AI
Firebase AI (Google Gemini) is off until you accept disclosure firebase-ai-logic-v1. Requests can contain selected memory text, hobbies, wake hour, routine titles, age band, support preferences and app language for editable summaries or activity suggestions. We do not automatically attach account identifiers, chats, documents, structured medication fields, coordinates, phone numbers or invitation codes. Your selected text may itself contain sensitive information: review it before sending. You can withdraw consent and use original wording or manual activities.
Optional diagnostics and analytics
Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Performance and Firebase Analytics have separate opt-in controls. They collect crash and diagnostic information, performance measurements or app interactions when enabled. Services may use device, installation or app-instance identifiers; omitting a Firebase Authentication user ID does not make these records anonymous. Performance services may process IP addresses for geographic segmentation. App-authored telemetry excludes private content and authentication secrets.
Services and sharing
Apple, Firebase/Google, RevenueCat and our document-scanning service support authentication, cloud storage, subscriptions, reliability and document safety. Content is shared with active family-circle members according to feature permissions and your choices. Medication reminders can sync with that private circle; they are not stored only on one phone. We do not sell personal information. Memory photos and original recordings can sync to authenticated members of your private family circle with active Family Plus access. Original audio is not included in Firebase AI requests.
Location and safety
Location is optional and requested for features you enable. It can include precise coordinates and a saved home address. You can change device permissions and in-app sharing choices. NomiDay is not medical monitoring, emergency dispatch or a substitute for local emergency services.
Retention and storage
The selected location-history period controls local history; it does not establish matching automatic deletion of cloud copies. Cloud records can remain until the corresponding record, circle or account is deleted, subject to separate service expiration rules. Contact us about applicable backup or legally required retention. Do not assume that deleting the app deletes your account or cloud data. Unsaved recordings and pending media are stored on this device, scoped to your account. Saved originals follow the memory’s cloud retention and circle/account deletion policy. The JSON data export does not include photo or audio files.
Account deletion, exports and billing
Signed-in users can request account deletion from Account without a subscription or completed onboarding. A shared-circle owner must transfer ownership before deletion while other members remain. Available data export tools are in Settings; contact us if you cannot access them. Deleting the account does not cancel an Apple subscription: manage it separately in Apple subscription settings. If automatic Apple access removal is unavailable, the app explains how to remove it manually after deletion.
Your rights and contact
You may request access, correction, export, deletion or consent withdrawal, and exercise applicable privacy rights without discriminatory treatment.
